US-Chinese diplomats clash on the first Biden Administration meeting


Chinese officials met for the first time in a face-to-face meeting with the Biden administration. The two sides clashed in front of the media at a high-level meeting in Alaska on Thursday. News from the BBC.

Earlier in the day, Chinese officials accused the United States of inciting other countries to attack China. And the US administration claims that the Chinese came to the meeting with the intention of demonstrating power.

The US delegation included US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. On the other hand, China was represented by the country's most senior foreign official, Yang Jiechi, and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
