United Hospital observed WORLD HEART DAY

The theme of World Heart Day for the year 2021 is ‘Use Heart to Connect’ which aims to highlight the power of digital health to improve awareness, management and prevention of CVD globally. 

Like every year, United Hospital observed World Heart Day this year in befitting manner by conducting Free Health Check-up in a health check booth at hospital lobby.  More than 500 patients and their family members availed free checkup throughout the day. 

Dr. Mahbub Uddin Ahmed, Director Medical Services of United Hospital inaugurated the health check booth at hospital lobby in presence of Dr. A. M. Shafique, Consultant, Cardiology & Dr. Rezaul Hassan, Consultant, Cardiac Surgery department & also presence of the hospital doctors, nurses and higher officials. Mr. Masud Ahmed, General Manager, Communication and Business Development Department conducted this program.

Dr. Mahbub Uddin Ahmed thanked Dr Momenuzzaman and Dr Jahangir Kabir and their team for carrying out more than 67000 cardiac surgeries and procedures over the past 15 years. He also mentioned that people trusts us with their heart because of the success rate of more than 90%.

United Hospital is conducting a week-long social awareness program on the occasion of World Heart Day. In addition, Heart specialists of United Hospitals will be attending seminars, free heart checkup camp, heart awareness activities at various clubs, corporate houses and will also be present on various television talk shows.
