Unilever Consumer announces 440pc cash dividend


Unilever Consumer Care Limited organised the 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) recently. At the meeting, shareholders approved the Directors’ Report, Auditor’s Report and Audited Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2020, The shareholders approved final cash dividend @ 440 percent meaning Tk 44 per ordinary share of Tk 10 each.

In pursuance to Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission’s directive and restrictions imposed by the Government on large gatherings to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus, the AGM was conducted through Digital Platform consecutively for the second time. Unilever Consumer Care Limited put the best effort to maintain social distancing in considering the health and safety of all its valued shareholders and others who plan to attend, said a press release.

The meeting was presided over by the company’s chairman Masud Khan. Company’s Managing Director KSM Minhaj, Finance Director Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed and other Directors Kedar Lele, Zahidul Islam Malita, S.O.M. Rashedul Quayum, Md. Abul Hossain, Mohsin Uddin Ahmed and Reazul Haque Chowdhury, Company Secretary Mohammad Naharul Islam Molla along with Company’s Senior Management and a number of shareholders attended the meeting using the digital platform.
