Tungiparar Miya Bhai to premiere on television on March 17

The film "Tungiparar Miya Bhai", based on the early life of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was to be screened at all secondary and higher secondary educational institutions by the Education Ministry in July 2021. The film was released countrywide in April, last year.

Commemorating the 102nd birth anniversary of Bangabandhu on March 17, the film will premiere on all satellite channels, under the instructions of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

Presented by Shalpa Media, the Selim Khan directorial features Shanto Khan as young Bangabandhu, while Prarthona Fardin Dighi plays Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib. The screenplay of the film is written by Shamim Ahamed Roni.

The movie also stars Dilara Zaman, Naznin Hasan Chumki, and Maznun Mizan among others.
