Daily suffering is not decreasing due to higher prices of daily products. In this, the life of people with limited income is formal. This time the price of staple food rice has increased again. Consumers have to pay an additional price of 4 to 5 rupees per kg of rice during the week. Lower and lower-middle class people are the most affected.

On Friday (July 12) morning, he went to Segunbagicha market in the capital and talked to Enamul Haque, a peon of a private office. He told Jago News that the prices of all kinds of products have been increasing for a long time. Among them, the fact that the price of rice has increased further is 'a blow to the neck'.

He said that he regularly buys medium quality BR-28 rice. Until now, he used to buy BR-28 rice at Tk 56 per kg. Now selling for 60 rupees. Rs. 4 per kg increased.

 

Talked to Jahangir Alam, the seller of a shop called Shimul Rice Agency in that market. He said that every bag of rice has increased by 200 taka in Mokam. We sell as we buy.

He said that the price of almost all kinds of rice has increased in the last one week. Now Miniket is being sold at Tk 70 to Tk 72, Nazirshail Tk 70 to Tk 75, Pajam at Tk 58 to Tk 60. Which is 4-5 taka more per kg than before.

Meanwhile, the instability in the vegetable market since last week has not yet subsided and prices of all types of vegetables have increased. Due to floods and continuous rains in some parts of the country, the prices of vegetables are increasing rapidly, the sellers said.

On Friday too, the supply of vegetables in the market was low due to overnight rain. The traffic of customers in the morning was less. Water has accumulated in low-lying markets. Many have come to the market to suffer.

After visiting several markets in Dhaka in the morning, it was seen that per kg Barab is selling at Tk 100-120, Karla Tk 120-140, Kachurmukhi Tk 120-160, Kakarol, Chichinga, Zinga and Eggplant at Tk 80-100. Com includes only potal and papaya, which are being sold at Tk 50 to Tk 60 per kg.

The price of onion and potato has not recovered. Onion was seen selling at Tk 110 to Tk 120 per kg in various markets today. Potatoes are being sold at Tk 60 to Tk 65 per kg.

On the other hand, the price of broiler chicken increased by Rs 10 per kg in a week. Broilers are being sold in the market today at 180 to 190 taka. The price of farm chicken eggs has not decreased. Each dozen is being sold at the rate of Tk 150 to 160 depending on the market.

Similarly, depending on the size, a kg of roe fish is being sold at the rate of Tk 350 to 500 per kg. People with limited income usually buy more tilapia, pangas and farmed fish. A kg of these medium-sized fish is also around Tk 250.
