The cabinet department proposed to make the age of entry into service 35 years
The Cabinet Department has proposed raising the age limit for entry into government service to 35 years and retirement age to 65 years.
On Wednesday (September 18), this information was revealed by the General Directorate of the Cabinet.
In this regard, the joint secretary of the cabinet department. A letter signed by Sajjadul Hasan has been sent to the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration.
The letter sent from the Cabinet Department to the Ministry of Public Administration said that since the scope of work of the Ministry of Public Administration is involved with the issue of raising the age limit for entry into government service to 35 years and the retirement age limit to 65 years, it is requested to kindly inform and take necessary measures.
It is known that job aspirants have been agitating for several years demanding that the age limit for entry into employment be increased to 35 years. In line with this, the cabinet department has proposed to increase the service age to 35 years.
