Sujata becomes preview committee
Sujata is a colorful actress who lives in silence and seclusion. She won the hearts of the audience by acting in the 1965 film 'Rupban'. She has spread fascination in Dhakai cinema since the sixties. She has been out of acting for a long time. She was suddenly seen in some film related programs.
This year, the government has given a lifetime achievement award to this talented actress of Bengali films. In her spare time he wrote one book after another.
This time the actress has got a new responsibility. Sujata will work as a member of the preview committee for the films that will be aired on Bangladesh Television.
The list of members of BTV's film preview committee has been published in a circular signed by Deputy Secretary of the Information Ministry Ruzina Islam on June 8 by order of the President. There is the name of actress Sujata Azim.
The actress is aware of the matter. She said, “I sincerely thank all concerned for including me in this committee. I will try to fulfill my responsibilities properly. ”
BTV Director General, President and BTV Senior Film Secretary and the 12-member list includes Humayun Kabir Bhuiyan as member secretary, Abdus Samad Khokon, deputy secretary of the TV-2 branch of the information ministry, film director and storyteller, cultural personalities Shah Alam Sikder Joy, Sheikh Munni Akhter, Sheikh Awlad Hossain Ruhul, Md. Giyasuddin Khan, presenter and playwright Tahera Ferdous Jennifer, producer and art director Tahmina Tabassum Rupa.
As mentioned in the circular as a policy for the committee, the committee will select the screening of the film for screening on BTV and make recommendations on its usefulness. If at least seven members are present, the quorum of the committee will be considered full and film preview activities will be conducted.
