Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi dies of Covid
Journalist, organizer and presenter Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi
was defeated by the coronavirus. He left the world on April 18 at 12 noon.
Zeeshan Kingshook Khan, a former colleague of Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi, confirmed
the matter.
He was admitted to Japan East West Hospital in the middle of
last week after contracting coronavirus. When his condition deteriorated, he
was taken to ICU and later to life support.
In his private life, Lodi was known as a journalist, a
member of Bachsas, a presenter, a film activist and one of the founding members
and organizers of the Bissha sahitto Kendra.
Besides film journalism, Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi was a
presenter of radio and TV. He has long been the presenter of Channel I's
popular show 'My Pictures'. He also worked in advertising agency for a long
time.
According to family sources, Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi will be buried after Janaza at Sector 4 Mosque in Uttara after Asar on Sunday.
