'Sangeet Oikko Bangladesh'

For the last 50 years, lyricists, composers and vocalists have been deprived of various irregularities, neglect and due respect and dignity. In order to overcome this situation, lyricists, composers and vocalists have tried to come under one shadow more than once in the last few years.

Several organizations have been formed This time 'Sangeet Oikko Bangladesh' was formed. It is not a separate organization, it is a combined organization of lyricists, composers and vocalists.

The organization made its official debut at a press conference on Saturday at 3 p.m. The first executive committee of the organization was announced at the conference organized on the internet. The committee was announced by Kumar Biswajit, General Secretary, Singers Association of Bangladesh.

The first committee of Sangeet Oikya Bangladesh has been arranged in this way: President Rezwana Chowdhury Bonya, Secretary General (3) Shahid Mahmud Jangi, Naqib Khan and Kumar Biswajit, Finance and Office Secretary Asif Iqbal, Information Technology and International Affairs Secretary Hasan Abidur Reza Jewel, Cultural Secretary Bappa Majumder, Publicity and Publication Secretary Zulfiqar Russell and Executive Members Manam Ahmed, Kabir Bakul, Shawkat Ali Emon and Joy Shahriar.

Rezwana Chowdhury Bonya, President of Singers Association of Bangladesh gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the press conference conducted by Zulfiqar Russell, Organizing Secretary of Geetikabi Sangha.

Regarding the objective of forming Sangeet Oikko Bangladesh, Naqib Khan, President of the Music Composers Society, said, “It is a non-political and non-profit organization. We will try to ensure effective steps to work with confidence in all aspects of music. Our dream is to work for the people as well as the needs of the country.”

Regarding the formation process of Sangeet Oikko Bangladesh, Shahid Mahmud Jangi, President of Geetikabi Sangha, said, "We have formed three organizations at this time last year. We noticed that there were some identical claims in their respective claims. Let's make 16 points. Then we all met at the ministry. I thought, we have to come to a place to reach the desired goal. Further relationships need to be developed between lyricists, composers and vocalists. So leaving three organizations - everyone plans to make a federal organization. The name of which is Sangeet Oikya, Bangladesh. I have taken 4 representatives from each of the three associations. I have formed an executive committee. We want to create a link between every music person in every district of Bangladesh.”
