Rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind likely over country

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Rangamati, Noakhali and Feni and it may abate from some places.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, said a met office release here Sunday.

Country’s maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 37.8 degree Celsius at Jashore and today’s minimum temperature 18.7 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia. Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6.00 am today was recorded 65millimeters(mm) at Dimla. The sun sets at 06.28 pm and rises at 05.24 am tomorrow in the capital.
