Professor Niaz Ahmed is the new Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University

Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan of the Development Studies Department of the University is being appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University.

A high-level source in the government confirmed the matter to Prothom Alo today. Already in this regard Acharya President Md. The source also said that Sahabuddin has agreed.

Prof. Niaz Ahmed Khan is serving as Vice-Chancellor of Private Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).

Before this, on August 10, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor ASM Maksud Kamal resigned. The professor of Disaster Science and Climate Resilience cited 'personal reasons' in his resignation letter. Maksud Kamal took charge on November 4 after being appointed as Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University on October 15 last year.
