Poster of Jaya Ahsan starrer ‘Beauty Circus’ out

The poster of Jaya Ahsan's upcoming project, ‘Beauty Circus’ was unveiled at a special programme on Wednesday by the Information minister, Dr Hasan Mahmud and Mahmud Didar, the director of the film.

The movie has been in the pipeline for five years, and is now slated for release in the theatres on September 23.

The official poster of the film has not been released on social media as of yet, but will be released at 8pm tonight on major social media platforms.

‘The way people are showering us with love and appreciation, without even watching the film, is incredible. As it is a government funded film, we gifted the official poster of the film to the Information Minister on behalf of the production company, Impress Telefilm’, said Mahmud Didar.

‘We are grateful to the Information Ministry for supporting us over the last five years. We have struggled a lot trying to release this film. I hope the audience will love our film, as it represents the culture and heritage of our country’, added the director.

The filming of ‘Beauty Circus’ began at Naogaon and Manikganj in 2017. The shooting of the film was done with the participation of 2,000 villagers along with 200 production crew members.

The film will highlight the struggles of women in the circus. In the film, Jaya performs amazing acrobatics—with such feats as walking over a tightrope.

‘This project is one of the most exciting ones in my acting career. Acting takes you places you've never been before, and gives you the chance to portray characters which are completely new. An opportunity to play the role of a circus-troupe was a brand-new experience for me’, said Jaya Ahsan.

Sharmin Sultana Sumi from Chirkutt, Evan from Ashes, and Tuntun Baul have lent their voices to three of the songs in the movie.

The star-studded cast of "Beauty Circus" includes Ferdous, Tauquir Ahmed, Shatabdi Wadud, ABM Sumon and Mamunur Rashid, among others.
