Pakistan won the toss and fielded

Pakistan is on the brink of the abyss after winning two matches in a row in the World Cup. On paper, the Super Eight hopes are still alive for the Green Men. For that, wins against Ireland and Canada are mandatory. Also, the United States must lose against Ireland.

Pakistan take on Canada in their third and do-or-die match on Tuesday (June 11). Pakistan invited Canada to bat after winning the toss in New York.

The 2009 champions are entering the field with one change in this match. Sayem Ayyub has been included in the XI, excluding Iftekhar Ahmed.

Pakistan XI: Babar Azam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan, Imad Wasim, Sayem Ayyub, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir.

Canada XI: Aaron Johnson, Navneet Dhaliwal, Pargat Singh, Nicholas Carton, Shreyas Mova, Ravinderpal Singh, Saad Bin Zafar (captain), Dillon Heiliger, Kaleem Sana, Junaid Siddiqui and Jeremy Gordon.
