One killed in Jashore road accident

A man was killed in a road accident at Ghugrail Chatal Mor (crossing) in Monirampur Upazila of the district last night. The deceased was identified as Abdus Satter Dafader, 55, son of Jonab

Ali, a resident of Ghugrail village of the Upazila.

Kajol Chatterjee, assistant sub-inspector of Monirampur Police station said the accident occurred when a motorbike hit Abdus Satter in the area, leaving him injured critically. Satter was taken to Monirampur Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
