Office to return normal schedule from Wednesday
All public and private offices of the country are returning to their normal schedule from tomorrow, Wednesday (July 31).
The Ministry of Public Administration announced this in a circular on Tuesday (July 30).
Incidentally, on July 18, during the complete shutdown program called by the students, several people including students lost their lives in a clash with the police. As the violence and loss of life continued the next day, a curfew was imposed from midnight that day, and the army was deployed across the country.
On the first day, curfew was relaxed for two hours in Dhaka for urgent work. From the next day the relaxation period started to increase. In this, the office opened on a limited basis (4 hours) from Wednesday (July 24).
There was an announcement on July 25, to relax the curfew from 9 am to 5 pm in Dhaka on Friday and Saturday.
In the new week, the office schedule changed from four hours to six hours. It was decided that the office will be operated from 9 am to 3 pm. Bank transactions will continue from 10 am to 3 pm.
Finally, as the law and order situation in the country is almost completely under control, it was decided to operate the office from 9 am to 5 pm as per the normal schedule.
