OC Farooq gets IGP Badge

'Police are your friends' - how many people believe this. But now the police are available as friends. Just as the truly responsible and loyal police perform their professional duties in obedience to the law, so too many of them are fascinated by the story of honesty, morality, and humanity. We see in the movie an honest, fearless, efficient, brave and humane police officer. Although not exactly like the movie, in reality such activities have started in the Bangladesh Police due to the significant number of honest, meritorious, principled, well-educated, good-natured, fearless, patriotic and dutiful police, which deserves much praise. The professional addiction of some policemen is such that whenever they get a chance, they always stand by the helpless people and look for opportunities to cooperate.

One such police officer is Farooq Ahmed. He is working as Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gafargaon Police Station. He joined Gafargaon Police Station as OC on 8 October 2021. Within a few months, OC Farooq won the hearts of the people of Gafargaon. Candidates who came to the police station for service were impressed by the OC's hospitality. You get the desired service as well as entertainment.

This police officer received the Exemplary Good Services Badge (IGP Badge) in recognition of his commendable and good work, which is the second highest award of the police.

Mymensingh Superintendent of Police Mohammad Ahmar Uzzaman (PPM Service) handed over the IGP batch to Gafargaon OC Farooq Ahmed on behalf of the IGP at the monthly welfare and crime meeting of the police. All the senior police officers of Mymensingh district were present at that time. On receiving the IGP batch, Gafargaon Police Inspector (Investigation) Mohammad Anwar Hossain and other officers and police members greeted OC Farooq Ahmed.
