Milton Samadder on 3-day remand in fraud case
A Dhaka court today (May 2) placed Milton Samadder, founder of Child and Old Age Care on a three-day remand in a case filed for allegedly making fake death certificates in his centre.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain passed the order as police produced Milton before the court with a seven-day remand plea.
According to the case documents, Milton used to run his Child and Old Age Care, posing as a doctor and used to make touching video contents for social networking sites and earn money by posting and publishing those on different sites.
Milton allegedly used to torture the people those took shelter in his centre and let them to suffer and subsequently die without giving them proper food and treatment. He is also accused of involved in human organ trafficking business and used to make fake death certificates to hastily bury people, who died in his centre.
Police found Milton's involvement in making as many as 50 fake death certificates.
