Millions of Muslim gathers at Hajiganj historic big mosque
Hajiganj's historic big mosque in the subcontinent has a long history of being the largest jamat for Muslims celebrating the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. In continuation of the tradition, millions of people have performed Jumatul Bida prayers together in the historic big mosque of Hajiganj.
Due to the global epidemic of Corona virus, millions of people from the surrounding districts, upazilas and different parts of the country came to perform prayers at the mosque on Friday. By 11 am, the first and second floors of the huge mosque were filled to the brim.
The mosque authorities, Ahmadiyya Alia Madrasa grounds and buildings, Jamia Ahmadiyya Qawmi Madrasa Bhaban, Hajiganj Tower, Rajnigandha Market, Hajiganj Plaza, Business Park, above the Prime Bank Bhavan, the former municipal building Is done. All these buildings were completed within 12:30 pm with the participation of devout worshipers. Imam and Khatib Mufti Abdur Rauf of Hajiganj Historical Big Mosque delivered the statement after the Azan of Friday prayers.
At 1 pm, from the front of the Comilla-Chandpur Regional Highway Station Road to the big bridge in the eastern market, the prayers of the worshipers spread. At that time all kinds of vehicles were stopped on the Comilla-Chandpur regional highway. Ignoring the scorching sun, the worshipers perform prayers in the fields and on the highways. At the end of the prayers, Imam and Khatib Alhaj Mufti Abdur Rauf offered special prayers for the welfare of the country and the nation and for liberation from the global epidemic. During the munajat, the sky and air became muffled by the sound of Amin Amin. At this time, the sky became heavier in the tears of the worshipers in the prayer of Jum'atul Bida than in the court of Allah.
The pride of the people of Hajiganj is in the large Jamaat of the historic big mosque. In particular, keeping the Hajiganj market free from hawkers and traffic jams, keeping the market clean, and making temporary azur arrangements for worshipers from far and wide were notable.
Regarding the preparations for the Jamaat of Jum'atul Bida and the Jamaat of Jum'atul Bida, Prince Shakil Ahmed, the Motawalli (Acting) of the Hajiganj Historical Grand Mosque, said, Special arrangements have been made for the performance of Jum'atul Bida prayers this time of year due to the outbreak of the epidemic. We have tried our best to serve the worshipers.
He further said that the police force of Hajiganj police station, various social organizations and local organizations have provided us with adequate support for the peaceful and orderly conduct of prayers. I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to them and look forward to their continued support in the future.
