Major reshuffle in the post of Superintendent of Police

There has been a major reshuffle in the post of Superintendent of Police. In public interest, this order is ordered to be effective immediately.

They were transferred in a notification issued on Sunday (June 23) by the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In the notification, 15 officers of SP rank have been transferred. 14 of them will serve as SP of the new district. Another will serve as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) of DMP.

Districts where new SPs have been transferred include- Rangpur, Comilla, Sylhet, Kushtia, Patuakhali, Barguna, Bogra, Feni, Pabna, Tangail, Nilphamari, Jessore, Madaripur, Sunamganj.

Among them, from the post of deputy police commissioner of DMP. Rangpur District Superintendent of Police Shahjahan. Kushtia District Superintendent of Police Muhammad Alamgir Hossain. Mohammad Monirul Islam is the Feni District Superintendent of Police. Md. A. Ahad has been transferred and posted as Pabna District Superintendent of Police.

Comilla District Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan has been transferred to Sylhet District. Patuakhali District Superintendent of Police. Saidul Islam has been transferred to Comilla district. Barguna District Superintendent of Police. Abdus Chalam has been transferred to Patuakhali district. Superintendent of Police of Police Bureau of Investigation. Rafiul Alam has been transferred to the post of Barguna District Superintendent of Police. Feni District Superintendent of Police Zakir Hasan has been transferred to Bogra District. Nilphamari District Superintendent of Police. Golam Sabur has been transferred to Tangail district.

Superintendent of Police of Police Bureau of Investigation. Mokbul Hossain has been transferred to Nilphamari district. Madaripur District Superintendent of Police Masud Alam has been transferred to Jessore District. Special Branch Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shafiur Rahman has been transferred to Madaripur district.

Superintendent of Police M. N. Morshed has been transferred to Sunamganj district.

Sylhet District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
