Less traffic on roads on 4th day of lockdown

Less traffic was seen on the roads in Dhaka as the ongoing 7-day countrywide lockdown entered the 4th day.

Mostly medical, essential and emergency service providers can be found in the moving vehicles in the city.

Police have set up checkposts at different points in the capital to ensure that the mass follows the guidelines.

However, there is an increase in the number of people going to test for Covid-19.

Long queues can be seen in front of collection booths and hospitals where people are queuing up to drop their samples.

Almost all the important roads in Dhaka city wore an empty look throughout the previous three days.

The weeklong strict lockdown was imposed from 14 April to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
