Holiday crowd at book fair
Ekushe book fair, the second day on Friday, witnessed a little bit of crowd. Due to the holiday, some visitors thronged to the fair. Though it was just the second day, some people visited the fair as it was Friday. Usually book fair becomes jammed after the first mid. But the holidays change the usual image always. Most of the people, who were visiting the book fair, were not buying books. They were checking out their favorite list looking around the stalls.
The fair started at 11 am on Friday. 55 new books have come to the fair. A discussion program titled “Golden Jubilee of Independence: Bangabandhu's historic speech on March 7” was held on the main stage of the book fair at 4 pm. The essay was presented by Subhash Singh Roy. Arma Dutt MP and Nasir Uddin Yusuf participated in the discussion. Professor Syed Anwar Hossain presided over the function.
The essayist said that Bangabandhu delivered his speech on March 7 without any preparation. Yet there was no hesitation or repetition in the words he uttered. This speech of Bangabandhu was one of the main motivations of the war of liberation. During the war of liberation, even after independence, that speech has been invigorating and invigorating us. This speech was a thunderous declaration against all kinds of injustice. He said Bangabandhu's speech on March 7 has crossed the borders of Bangladesh and made its place in world history. It is a source of pride and joy for us. This speech of Bangabandhu has only served as our inspiration in the days of the liberation war. Not only that, it has become and will continue to be a direction for future generations.
The speakers said that the 18-minute speech delivered by Bangabandhu on March 7, 1971, was his usual instant speech, not a speech made earlier. It is basically a poem about politics. Due to its greatness and enormity, UNESCO recognized Bangabandhu's extraordinary speech as one of the world's 'World Documentary Heritage' in October 2016 and obtained the freedom-loving Bengali nation to a unique height. The uniqueness of the speech, its spontaneity, fearlessness, thorough comprehension, and eloquent utterances, in fact, for the first time made the extreme and absolute aspiration of the Bengali people for freedom. Overall, Bangabandhu's March 7th speech defined independence gave the ultimate direction to independence and outlined the constitution of independent Bangladesh. There is a strong conviction in the heart of the sentences of this speech to put a smile on the face of a sad person.
In his speech, Professor Syed Anwar Hossain said that Bangabandhu's speech on March 7 was a strong declaration of independence of Bangladesh. Through this speech of the epic consonant, the undisputed leader of Bengal organized the nation in the coming war of liberation and inspired the conviction of victory. In fact, it was through this speech that the liberation war of the Bengalis began.

Today is the third day of the Ekushey Book Fair. The fair will run from 11 am to 9 pm.
A discussion program titled 'Golden Jubilee of Independence: Declaration of Independence will be held on the main stage of the book fair at 4 pm. Abul Momen will present the article. Abul Kashem and Abdul Mannan Chowdhury will participate in the discussion. Barrister M. Amir-ul Islam will preside over the ceremony.
