Hefajat-e-Islam central committee abolished

Hefajat-e-Islam Amir Junayed Babunagari tonight in a video message declared the central committee of the organization dissolved.

“Considering overall situation of the country, the central committee of the Hefajat-e-Islam has been dissolved following the advice of some important members of the central committee,” he said.

Claiming the Hefajat-e-Islam, which has been held responsible for March mayhem carried out across the country during the state visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bangladesh, as a largest non-political Islamic organization of the south-east Asia, Babunagari said the organization would run again with a convening committee.
