Hat-trick hero AlauddinBabu wins it for Brothers Union

Bangladesh's AlauddinBabu holds the record for surrendering the most runs in List-A cricket at Mirpur. In the Dhaka Premier Division T20 Cricket League on Thursday, he bagged a hat-trick at the same stadium. The Legends of Rupganj were bowled out for just 111 runs, which Brothers Union easily chased down with 8 wickets in hand.

Babu completed his hat-trick after taking the wickets of Muktar Ali, ShohagGazi, and Nabil Samad of Legends of Rupganj while playing for Brothers Union.

In the last two deliveries of the 18th over, he returned Muktar and Shohag to the pavilion. He returned to bowl the 20th over and completed his hat-trick by picking up Nabil Samad in the first ball.

This was sixth hat-trick in T20 cricket for Bangladeshi bowler and he became the fifth Bangladeshi bowler to do so.

Al-Amin was the only player to score a hat-trick twice. In 2013, he scored his first hat-trick, and in 2015, he scored his second in the BPL. The other Bangladeshi bowlers to complete hat-trick are- Aliss Islam, Manik Khan, and Kamrul Islam Rabbi.
