Harmony of Ramadan should be used for development of country - SP Akhtar
The harmony and camaraderie of Ramadan should be utilized for the development of the country. We must be determined and committed to contribute to the ever-increasing progress of Bangladesh's development with utmost confidence.
The members of the Alumni Association of English Department of Bogura Govt Azizul Haque College are working together with highest priority, professionalism, honesty, devotion and sincerity with this motto from their profession , General Secretary of the Alumni Association SP (Rangpur Range) Akhtar Hossain said the above mentioned speech at the iftar party organized by the English Department Alumni Association in the seminar of the English Department on Friday.
Before iftar, a discussion meeting was presided over by Senior Vice-President of Alumni Association, Assistant Professor and distinguished Journalist Mamun-ur-Rashid.
During the event, a prayer for peace for the people of the country including the members of the organization was offered. Principal of Government Azizul Haque College Proffessor Khondkar Kamal Hasan, Former Head of English Department Prof. Shafiqul Amin, Prof. Abdul Ghani, Prof. Abdur Rab Nestar, Prof. Abdul Quader, Associate Professor Akidul Islam, Head of English Department at govt. Shah Sulltan College and Vice- president of the Alumni Zebun Necha, Joint-General Secretary of Alumni Association SP Gaziur Rahman, Joint-General Secretary Assistant Professor Fakrul Mulk Limon, Vice Principal of Demazani Islamia College Md Mahmudur Rahman Golap, assistant professor Fahmida Rejoana, poet AK Azad, Md Mostafizur Rahman, Hosne Ara, Apurb Raihan, editor of Daily Asia newspaper and publicity secretaryr of Alumni Association Md Emdadul Haque, Organizing Secretary (Acting) Farhad Hossain, Sajjad Kabir and Mintaj etc were present.
The prayer and iftar party turned into a gathering of old and new students and current and former teachers of the department. After the prayer and Iftar party, the Re-union program organized by the Alumni Association next year was discussed.
