Govt stipulates price cap for Ramadan staples

The Department of Agricultural Marketing has determined the price of the daily commodities for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

Mohammad Yusuf, director-general of Agricultural Marketing Department, confirmed the matter in a press conference on Monday.

According to the fixed price rate, the price of onion will be 40tk per kilogram, while sugar will be 67tk per kilogram, and soybean oil 139tk per liter.
