DB police arrest killer within two days by

Mymensingh District Detective Police DB has been able to unravel the mystery of two separate murder cases and arrest the accused in the last two days. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Khandaker Fazle Rabbi told a press conference at the district detective police office on Wednesday afternoon that the district police had arrested two persons involved in the murder of a teenager named Sajid (15) at his home in Nandail upazila of Mymensingh. The arrested are Hannan (45) of Hossainpur in Kishoreganj and his cousin Arman (19) of Nandail upazila in Mymensingh.

The killer Hannan hired his wife Runa Begum as a garment factory worker. Sajid's elder brother Rabiul Awal Shuvo (18) was working with Runa in that factory. Shuvo also rented a house in the same area due to work in the same factory. At one stage, Runa Begum developed an immoral relationship with Shuvo. Runa left her children at her husband's house 5 months ago and started a new family with Shuvo.

Hannan became vengeful after an unintended breakdown in his 20-year family life. Out of that resentment, he plans to take revenge by killing Shuvo or one of his family members. According to the plan, Hannan comes to Nandail with his cousin accused Arman. Hannan and Arman entered Sajid's house with a sharp knife and killed him by cutting his throat.

District Detective Police Officer (OC) said. Shafiqul Islam said that the day after the incident, the victim's mother Esmin Akhter (38) became the plaintiff and filed a murder case accusing unknown persons. The district detective police got the responsibility of investigating the incident. After a quick investigation, the DB police was able to unravel the mystery of the murder and arrest the two involved from Bishwambhapur area of Sunamganj district on Tuesday (March 29) night.

According to the information provided by the accused, their blood stained clothes and the sharp knife used in the murder were recovered from a pond a short distance from the spot. The accused have been handed over to the court, said the DB OC.

Earlier on Monday night, DB police arrested the killer Nazmul Hasan Dipzal (25) and Mosharraf Hossain (38) along with revealing the mystery of the murder of Nandil's notorious auto driver Monir.
