Constable Kawsa remanded for 7 days
The court has granted 7-day remand to the accused constable Kawsar Ali in the case of the death of another policeman in the police firing in the capital.
On Sunday (June 9) he was brought to court and requested to be remanded for ten days for proper investigation of the case. After the hearing, the Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka. Shakil Ahmed granted remand.
According to the source of the case, on Saturday (June 8) around 11:30 p.m., another policeman was accused of shooting and killing a policeman engaged in security work in front of the Palestine Embassy in Baridhara of the capital. The deceased policeman was working in the Diplomatic Security Division.
A driver of the Japanese embassy named Sajjad Hossain was injured in the shooting incident. He was admitted to United Hospital.
