Celebrate the great Independence Day by BAIUST


Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology-Beast celebrated the great Independence Day and the golden jubilee of independence. The virtual event started at 9.30 am under the supervision of Beaust Cultural Club. Beast student Ridwan Hossain recited from the Holy Quran at the beginning of the program.

The national anthem is performed in unison. Adviser of the Cultural Club Riduanul Mostafa recited the introductory speech and separate speeches of His Excellency the President, Hon'ble Prime Minister and Hon'ble Chief of Army Staff on Independence Day. Abu Sufian Mohammad Tajuddin, Adviser and Assistant Professor of the Cultural Club, spoke on the glorious progress of independent Bangladesh.

Boost student Sraboni Das reviewed Bangabandhu's unfinished autobiography on the occasion. Special documentary films on the significance of the day (Chiranjeev Bangabandhu, Bangabandhu in defense, How did independence happen to us and the golden days) were broadcast. Vice Chancellor Prof. Brigadier General KM Salzar Hossain (Retd.) Spoke on the significance of Independence Day.

He said that the achievement of 3 million martyrs and 2 lakh women freedom fighters through self-sacrifice is necessary to make freedom meaningful. If we want to keep the progress of the development of the country, we have to hold the spirit of the liberation war. Anyone can play a role in the development of the country by fulfilling his or her proper responsibilities. We do not have the opportunity to be freedom fighters but we can contribute to the realization of the dream of liberation war by faithfully fulfilling our duties and responsibilities.

At the end of the ceremony, special prayers and munajat were offered for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs. The munajat was conducted by the lecturer Md. Hasanur Rahman. The program was conducted by student Tasneem Jerin. Also present on the occasion were Treasurer Colonel Prof. Md. Mosharraf Hossain (Retd.), Registrar Col. Sumon Kumar Barua (Retd.), Dean, Head of Department, Teachers, Officers and Staff.
