BCB senior executive Belal passes away
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) expressed deep sadness at the passing away of its Senior Executive IT Md. Belal Hossein. Belal breathed his last at the Universal Medical College & Hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday evening. He was 51 at the time of his passing. According to close associates of the board, Belal was suffering from Covid-19.
The BCB extended heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the family of the departed.
“Belal was an ever-present, hard-working and sincere individual who had maintained and managed the IT-related requirements of the board with dedication and commitment. This organisation will miss his humbleness and readiness to help and assist. Our thoughts and prayers with his family at this hour of unbearable grief,” said BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhurt in a message on Wednesday.
Belal was appointed in BCB IT Department in February 2001 and had offered over two decades of service to the board.
