BCB arranges 4-day special camp for spinners

The lack of spinners for Bangladesh in the Test format has become clear in the recently concluded Bangladesh-Sri Lanka Test series. With the end of the series, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has taken a unique initiative.

The BCB Cricket Operations has arranged a special four-day camp for spinners. There will be 32 spinners in the camp. National Team spin bowling coach Rangana Herath will conduct the camp which will run from 29 May to 01 June at the indoor and outdoor training facilities at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

However, Herath will not travel with the team for the West Indies tour due to personal leave. So, before going on holiday, Herath will sharpen a group of spinners in this camp.

Most of those called to the camp are well-known faces. The top performers of domestic first-class cricket and club cricket in the country have got the opportunity to do this camp in the company of the national team spin coach.
