Bangladesh look to bounce back against India in 2nd T20I
Bangladesh national women’s team will be looking to bounce back in the ongoing five-match WT20I series when they take on visitors India in the second match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today (April 30).
The hosts are currently trailing the series by a 0-1 margin after they suffered a crushing 44-run defeat in the opening match in Sylhet on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 146 runs, Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana Joty struck 51 off 48 balls but she failed to get any support from the other hand as the hosts could only make 101-8 in their stipulated overs.
Earlier, India posted 145-7 in their 20 overs with Yastika Bhatia making the highest 36 runs.
The remaining three matches will be held respectively on 2, 6 and 9 May.
