Bangladesh Games 2020: Amira wins first gold in 50-meter shooting


At the same time, Arnab Sharar secured a Gold Medal in 10 meter Men’s Junior Air Rifle event

Amira Hamid, national athlete shooter of Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation & Gulshan Shooting Club, has secured the first Gold Medal in 50 meter Women’s Junior Prone event at the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games 2020.

At the same time, Arnab Sharar secured a Gold Medal in 10 meter Men’s Junior Air Rifle event, said a press release issued on Sunday.

Both Both Amira & Arnab took part in Youth Olympic in Buenos Aires of Argentina in 2018, where Amira scored 576 for her first position while Arnab scored 245.7 in the finals. 

The Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games 2020 were inaugurated on April 1, 2021, and will be concluded on April 5, 2021. 

A total of 275 participants from 37 different clubs across the country along with 74 team officials are taking part in this biggest sport event in Bangladesh.
