Bangladesh’s Faisal has five Guinness World Records now


At the age of 18,  Mahmudul Hasan Faisal from Magura sealed his name on the Guinness Book of World Record for the fifth time. ‎ ‎He set the record of most football arm rolls in 30 seconds by spinning a football with his left hand 62 times in 30 seconds. Faisal said that he has already received the official recognition certificate issued by the World Guinness Book Authority. ‎ He previously set world records four times by spinning football and basketball with his hand. He is currently studying at Magura Polytechnic Institute.  He set his last record last November by spinning football with his hand 62 times in 30 seconds. He has recently been recognized by the World Guinness Record Book for that record. ‎ Guinness authorities recognised his first world record, most football arm rolls in a minute, in August 2018. He did it 134 times.

He broke the previous record of catching a basketball with neck 27 times in a minute by doing it 34 times on May 3 2019. He achieved the world record for most basketball arm rolls – 144 times – in a minute on Jan 6 2019. Faisal has had a keen interest in sports have been his favourite since childhood. He had wished to become a cricketer or footballer in his early days, but success eluded him, leading him closer to freestyle football.  “My dream is to appear before everyone with 25 such certificates,” Faisal said.  

Who doesn't like to uphold the flag of Bangladesh to the whole world, after all! ‎ Faisal's father Sohail Rana said Faisal has been very interested in sports since childhood. But he worked tirelessly for this record. Even his studies have been hampered a lot. Maqbool Hossain, General Secretary of the Magura District Sports Association, said Faisal's record made them proud. We are ready to give him any kind of support in the future.,” he said.
