Avik dedicates medal to language martyrs

Bangladesh Formula-1 racer Avik Anwar achieved yet another accomplishment as he grabbed third place in a Formula one track and dedicated his success to language martyrs.
Avik showcased the medal winning performance in UAE Procar Championship, Round 4, Race 1 which took place at Yas Marina Formula1 circuit in Abu Dhabi, UAE on Friday.
Avik, who made a satisfactory finish despite facing difficulties in the new track, became the first Bangladeshi to take a podium position in the circuit.
“I dedicate this award to all the language martyrs of our language movement. Joy Bangla,” Avik wrote on his social media post.
“This is my first time racing at Yas Marina F1 track. All the other racers are professional here. They have been racing for 5-6 years and very experienced. It was a close finish with 4th place as we finished side by side,” Avik added.
