AL deeply involved in every achievement: Sheikh Hasina

Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina said that Awami League is always with the people. Today, all the achievements of Bangladesh are by the Awami League. But Awami League has been attacked repeatedly. Awami League is the organization of the masses. Awami League is an organization for realizing people's rights.

She said this at a discussion organized on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of Awami League at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Sunday (June 23).

Sheikh Hasina said Awami League could not be finished even after repeated blows. Because the strength of Awami League is the common people of the country. Many leaders have made mistakes at different times. The left Awami League. The leaders who made mistakes did not understand.

'Awami League is deeply involved in every achievement of the Bangalees. The party was established to change the fate of the people of Bengal. Which we have proven,' she added.

Sheikh Hasina said, 'After 1975, the power has changed repeatedly. But power has been changed either through weapons and through conspiracies. People did not have democratic rights, people did not have basic rights. They could not change the fate of the people.'

She said the soldiers of Mujib ideology never accept defeat. If the AL is remains united, no one will be able to suppress Awami League.
