Al-Arafah Islami Bank announces 15% cash dividend

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has announced a 15% cash dividend for 2020. The 358th meeting of the Board of Directors held on Sunday recommended the payment of dividends.

The meeting chaired by Alhaj Abdus Samad Labu, Chairman of the Bank, fixed August 26, 2021 as the date of the Bank's 26th Annual Virtual General Meeting (AGM) and June 10, 2021 as the record date. It was decided to pay the dividend for the year ended 31 December 2020 subject to the approval of the AGM.

Enayet Ullah, Alhaj Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, Alhaj Abdul Malek Mollah, Alhaj Ahmedul Niaz, Alhaj Abu Niaz Alhaj Mohammad Emadur Rahman, Alhaj Engineer Khandaker Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Alhaj Mohammad Harun, Alhaj Md. Liaquat Ali Chowdhury, Alhaj Md. Anwar Hossain, Alhaj Md. Harun-ur-Rashid Khan, Alhaj Md. Rafiqul Islam, Md. Amir Uddin PPM and M. Chowdhury Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury participated. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Company Secretary and Deputy Managing Director of the bank and other senior executives were present at the time.
