Dense Fog Triggers Multi-Vehicle Crash in Rangpur, 25 Injured

Six vehicles, including two passenger buses, a truck, a pickup, and a covered van, collided due to heavy fog in Rangpur, leaving at least 25 people injured.

 

The accident occurred around 7:30 AM on Saturday (February 1) at Gor-er Matha Mor on the Rangpur-Dhaka Highway in Mithapukur.

According to highway police and locals, the vehicles lost control in the dense fog and crashed into each other at the four-way intersection. Some windshields were shattered, and several vehicles sustained damage.

Highway police rushed to the scene, provided first aid to the injured, and began clearing the wreckage. Several critically injured individuals were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
