Coordinators of anti-discrimination movement going to Bangabhaban


The coordinators of the anti-discrimination movement are going to Bangabhaban on the call of President Md. Sahabuddin and Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman.

 
They will go to Bangabhaban on Tuesday (August 6) evening.

Meanwhile, the anti-discrimination student movement has proposed the name of Nobel-winning economist Professor Muhammad Yunus as the chief adviser to the interim government.


Other names proposed by the coordinators in the interim government. They are - Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, Matiur Rahman Chowdhury (Manobjomin), Dr. Asif Nazrul, Dr. Salimullah Khan, Brigadier General Dr. Sakhawat Hossain, Major General Muniruzzaman, photographer Shahidul Alam, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Dr. Pinaki Bhattacharya, Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya, Prajesh Chakma.


Apart from this, their offer includes-

 
1. Government tenure is 3-6 years (maximum).

2. Conducting elections 3 months before the end of the government.

3. Parliament was dissolved and the government was formed by the afternoon of August 6.


4. Removal/resignation of Chief Justice and removal of party judges.

5. Retirement of various heads of law enforcement (except three forces).

6. Reorganization of the Election Commission.

7. By amending the constitution, the election management under the party government is canceled.

8. All contractual appointments of Govt are canceled.


9. Maximum punishment for those involved in the killing of students and citizens is guaranteed compensation to the families of the dead and injured.

10. July is declared a month of national mourning.

11. Bringing to justice those involved in corruption of the last 15 years, publishing the white paper.

12. Reorganization of Anti-Corruption Commission.
