5 killed as truck hits car in Habiganj

Five passengers of a private car, including woman and child, were killed after a collision with a truck in Habiganj's Madhabpur upazila on Thursday (April 2).

Of the deceased, four were the members of a same family. 

However, identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

The tragic accident took place at 1:30am while returning home after receiving a man at Dhaka airport, according to information provided by the police.

Madhavpur Fire Service Station official Mantosh Mallik confirmed the matter Banglanews.

The bodies were kept at Habiganj Sadar Hospital morgue, he added.
