4 Die in Bus-Truck Collision in Dinajpur

Four people were killed, and 16 others were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in the Jadupur area of Birganj Upazila, Dinajpur.

  

This accident occurred around 8:30 am on Friday (December 6) at Jadur Mor, in the Kamarpur area of the Dinajpur-Thakurgaon highway in Birganj Upazila.

Dash Mile Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Omar Faruk confirmed the matter.

 

He said, 'A paddy-laden truck and a bus collided head-on at Jadur Mor at approximately 8:30 am on Friday. The driver of the bus and truck and two bus passengers died on the spot. Several bus passengers were injured at that time. Our rescue operation is underway."

 

However, the identities of the dead could not be known immediately. Further details will be provided later.
