2021 KTM RC 390

The 2021 KTM RC 390 was recently running in the streets of Europe. Compared to the test mule spotted earlier, this one features major changes to the bodywork and underpinnings. For starters, the brakes are different and are a lot sleeker than the ones in the current-generation model. Even the alloy wheels get a sleek 5-spoke design, instead of the 10-spoke units in the version sold at present. Another major change comes in the form of an adjustable inverted WP front fork. The rear end is likely to use the same preload-adjustable WP monoshock as before.

The motorcycle is likely to use the same state of tune as that of the India-spec, BS6-compliant KTM RC 390. The one sold here produces 43.5PS and 36Nm. The bike also features a KTM 390 Duke-esque LED headlamp with indicators integrated into the headlamp fairing, unlike the rear-view mirror-mounted units in the current-generation model. The instrument cluster is likely to be a full-colour TFT unit with smartphone compatibility.
